Stop by the library any time this month to view our new exhibit by Neysa Russo, a Corinth artist who creates intricate woolen tapestries with a mostly medieval design flair. Neysa is the author of Needle Felted Tapestries, available at the library, and is a regular contributor to Rug Hooking magazine.
Interested in learning more about Neysa’s work and the process of creating felted tapestries? Please join us on Monday, Jan. 8 at 6:30pm, for ‘Mostly Medieval: An Evening with Artist Neysa Russo.’ Neysa will give a talk about felt making, both the history and the process. She’ll include a demonstration of needle felting using a barbed needle and wool fleece to create folk art tapestries.
The Jan. 8 program will take place downstairs in our children’s area.
