We are happy to announce that we will be starting curbside service for pickups and returns on Wednesday, June 3rd. Curbside hours will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 2-6 pm. Please see the FAQ below for details and, hopefully, answers to all of your questions. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I request physical items? Yes. You can make requests via the catalog on our website (https://blake.kohavt.org//), via email (khotellingbml@gmail.com) or via phone (802-439-5338). These requests can be made anytime but will be filled on the next designated day. Requested items will be placed on a book cart outside the library (or in the new front entryway if the weather is bad) on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2-6 pm. They will be labeled with the last four digits of your ID, which we will tell you if you do not currently know it.
Is there a way to browse the catalog? Yes, you can access our catalog on our website here: https://blake.kohavt.org// Search by title, author, or subject. Then “place hold” on any item you would like us to pull for you. If you aren’t sure what you want to read, try our Novelist reader’s advisory feature, which recommends titles based on other books you’ve enjoyed. For details, see our post on novelist here: https://blakememorial.org/wondering-read-next-library-catalog-now-recommendations-novelist/ If you still aren’t sure what you want, reach out and we will try to help you with your selection as best we can.
