Stop by the library to check out the stunning new photograph exhibit by local artist Dana Ceccarelli. Dana’s collection includes close-ups of natural objects like minerals, rocks, and wood, and water– a dazzling display of patterns, textures and shapes. Dana’s prints are on sale for $120 each, with part of the proceeds to benefit the library.
Dana, on her inspiration for her Shaped By Nature collection:
“For as long as I can remember, being in nature has been my happy place where I feel connected and at peace. I take in the powerful immenseness and the minute details, feeling ageless while contemplating change that has occurred before my presence.
Using my camera as a tool, I focus on a subject to see it differently, and capture natural elements that have been shaped over time- be it a brief moment or many centuries. I hope my images encourage viewers to stop and look closely to contemplate time and and change with the power of nature. “
