On Monday, April 10 at 6:30pm, Vermont author Didi Pershouse will read from her book, The Ecology of Care: Medicine, Agriculture, Money, and the Quiet Power of Human and Microbial Communities. Since its publication, Pershouse has taken the book and its ideas on the road, traveling around the country to discuss with farmers, scientists, and others how soil health, climate resilience, and human health and brain function are deeply intertwined through microbial networks. At her presentations, Pershouse practices deep listening and cross-pollination of ideas; her presentations are participatory and generate lively discussions.
We hope you can join us at the library for a lively discussion with Didi!
